    1. Super cute dress! star rating

So it's not the fastest sew (as there's potentially 11 pieces to cut out)
but it turns out lovely every time and I love having sleeve options and dress or tunic options. Highly recommend!

I love this dress pattern - I've made 4 versions already; Its so quick and easy to sew up and I love mixing patterns on it. The granddaughters love how comfortable the dress is too!

    4. Sensory Sensitive kids beware but Perfect Tween Dress star rating

Posted by Colleen Knox on 29th Dec 2016

Warning sensory sensitive kiddos really notice the side seams from the accent. I should have top stitched those down but my cover stitch kept skipping stitches over the thick pocket binding so I gave up to get it done for gift giving. Next go I'll try harder.

My tween loves the pockets on this tunic! She says she can easily carry her phone around listening to music while she works while wearing her comfy knit pants with no pockets.

Reminder the pocket trim center will not really be scene...so if you are trying to do a cool accent with a print you'll want that just inside the seam allowance.

    5. This pattern is awesome! star rating

Posted by Suzanne K on 28th Nov 2016

This is one of the few times I have downloaded a pattern and then immediately made it. This dress is just terrific. It's a great use of heavier weight stretch knits. I used CL, but you could use ponte or maybe even interlock as long as there's enough stretch, per the pattern. The directions are clear and concise, the pattern goes together smoothly and just looks terrific. I highly recommend topstitching all the seams where you connect the side panels to the front and back panels, for a finished look. What a fun and easy pattern!
