This lunch box has plenty of room for sandwiches, fruit, bottle of water, ice pack and a treat! The zipper can be tricky but just take your time and it should be fine. I will probably try to glue baste the zipper on the next one I make.

The pattern is well written with photos for each step so you can see what it looks like visually. I was dreading how long I THOUGHT it would take to sew up, but much to my happiness, this was a very fast sew and came together perfectly. With just three pattern pieces, this isn't a paper hog at all. This lunchbox turned out perfect. I was able to fit a kid sized thermos, a sandwich, cookies, chips, and a sliced up apple in it. There is no pocket for an icepack so if you want to have one of those, you would either need to put it in the lunchbox itself or add a pocket for an icepack. All in all a great pattern!! I see a lot of these in my nieces' and nephews' futures!! Another hit from PAB Patterns!!

The lunchbox is slightly larger than the cheap character lunch boxes my kids have had in the past, which is great! I was worried about the project being very time consuming, but following the directions step by step, I moved right along through the project. Thank you for another great pattern!
