I liked how the finished product turned out, but it took me a while and I made a few mistakes because I felt the instructions were a bit confusing. I am not a newbie at sewing and had some trouble with this one. That said, the design was adorable and was cute on my granddaughter.

used this to make my 2 month old granddaughter an Olaf costume and looking forward to doing some basic hats and mittens. Well done!

I bought this pattern to make a hat for my son...who hates hats, and he sat on the couch wearing it all night! Win! I opted to make his hat with the ear flaps and it was really the quickest and easiest sew. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish...

A great pattern , quick and easy, I made two so far and going to make many more.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of this pattern. It is cute and easy at the same time. The only complaint I would have is that they seem a little on the small side, and easy enough fix.

Made mittens, flap hats and hat with band. The pattern is great. The mitts looks huge on paper but you lose so much due to seam allowance. Trust the size chart! I made a toddler hat for my son based on his head measurements and mitts in 6-12 based on size chart. Perfect fits!

Very cute hat pattern, I think I will be making a lot of these for my girls this winter.

I used this pattern as a base for the head of the Olaf costume. It was accurate and easy to follow. Now I want to make them for all my grandkids!

The fit was great for my average sized two year old - I didn't measure and just used the Toddler size in the gloves and the hat. I made the hat with the chin straps and I will admit I was a bit scared to try this. The hat and the mittens were so easy to put together. The instructions are clear, the pictures only make it easier to understand. This is a pattern I will use over and over. Love it!

The mittens fit pretty well and are easy to make. For the hats, even if they are very quick to make, the fit was wrong for my kids. They have head sizes that are in the range the pattern calls for, but they definitely are too small for them. I'll give it another try with a bigger size for my son but I think they are not design deep enough so that can cover the ears (which is very important when it's cold).

What a fabulous pattern! I love the different options, particularly the ear flaps! My first attempt at the hat & mittens came together in no time. As is the standard with Peek-a-boo Patterns, this one is very clearly written and easy to follow. We'll be using this pattern every winter to customize our hats & mittens.

What a great pattern. I love how quick they are to put together. I'll be making many more of these for both my kids, and as gifts.

These ran gigantically big for us, both hat and mitten. I ended up custom cutting it and sizing it way down. The beauty is that the custom sizing is not hard so you can get the fit you need. I guess my children have small heads and hands. Overall, a well written tutorial.

My boys love picking out their own fleece for their growing hat collection. These hats are super quick to whip up and fit perfectly. The chin straps keep the hats on through snow ball fights and sledding.

This is a very quick and easy sew, but it looks even better than store bought. I couldn't decide between the toboggan style or the hat with chin straps for the grands, so I made both and let them decide. They couldn't decide either! Lol. I also made for nieces and added scarves with fringe to match pompoms. This is a very easy sew and would be great for beginners - even young beginners! With all the fun fleece print choices - I'm sure we will be making hats and mittens for every day of the week! Lol
