Bought this pattern for the sew along and had a lot of fun learning to sew knit. My daughter loves the 2 shirts I made her and my older daughter has requested one too!

I really like this new incarnation of the sweatshirt. Most of the directions were easy to follow. However, as a novice sewist, a little more clarification/pictures on how exactly to sew the cross over portion of the pullover would have been helpful. I messed up the cross-over portion and additionally was not sure how to the binding on the end opposite of the crossover gets sewn into the side seam that is sewn up after the binding is put on. There are no side pictures of the finished product either which would help a visual person like me.

I made this in size 10 for my tiny 12 year old daughter. I had no problems with the pattern and it turned out great the first time, using cotton/lycra.
