I like the pattern, but I made a few changes. I did not sew the binding as suggested. I sewed a 1/4" seam then turned the binding over the seam with edge of binding just past seam and use a double needle to stitch. The unfinished edge will not ravel and it is a smooth finish. I made a little wider binding at the legs. I also added some fabric at the shoulder of sleeve to have some gathers to make it more feminine and gathered the wrist as well and put binding there. Turned out great!

I never thought sewing a onesie would be this easy. I've tried free patterns for lap tees before and always ran into issues with the neck being too high or things being uneven. This pattern made it so simple, I made a pretty small size for my first try (I think 3 or 6 month) and It was still so easy!

i loved making the suit easy to follow instructions, only downside is that i felt the neck sat too high up but that maybe my inexperience as im only a beginner sewer

I have looked everywhere for a RTW bodysuit for my size 3 son with special needs without finding anything... then searched for a bodysuit pattern that went past a size 2 and still found nothing. So happy to have found such a great pattern in his size! Thank you!

I have been wanting this pattern for a while and Memorial Day sale was my opportunity to get it. I have made half a dozen since then and everyone is different. I have not quite mastered what I want as yet but I am getting there. Looking at different interfacings to incorporate into the snaps placement and that is taking a bit of my time - not got it mastered yet. This is certainly a great pattern and I am so happy that I have it now. This is my 4th Peekaboo pattern and it is easy to follow just like all the others. Peekaboo is a great pdf find for an old paper pattern lady. Thanks, using your pattern has been easy for me to make the shift.

Not sure this is exactly beginner but a very cute pattern. My sleeves were longer than the body when I went to attach them and I had cut the same size so not sure about that. The neckline wasn't extremely complicated but might be for a true beginner.

I am a beginner sewer and was a bit intimidated at trying a new pattern, especially clothing. But this pattern was very easy to follow and I did well on my first try. I cannot wait to continue making more shirts for my little guy! Thank you for the great pattern :-)

Thank you peekaboo pattern and Amy for allowing me to make such wonderful items for my children. I was a beginner at sewing and with these patterns I was able to creat clothes that look so professional. I was able to follow just by looking at the diagrams. So easy to follow.

Easy pattern to follow with great instructions but when I went to attach sleeves they were too long, followed markings when on wearer the front hung as it looked too long, seemed too large and feel I didn't over lap back on front enough so undid sleeves but couldn't get it all lined up again, looking forward to trying again though, any suggestions appreciated.

This pattern produced a very cute tee. I did have an issue with the way the neck came out but I'm pretty sure that had more to do with my sewing abilities and first time with this pattern. I'm planning to try it again though! And it sewed up in a couple hours with a regular sewing machine.

So simple and functional, and I love that there is a lap tee version, which is a super quick sew and easy for beginners. No more boring onesies :) !
