Once you figure out the placket, this is an easy sew. I studied the instructions a while, checked the sew-along, and then just went for it. It was correct, but it feels really awkward while sewing it (it has to... that's how it works).
My only suggestion would be to add a video of this step on the blog or sew-along.
Finished product was great, even without the top-stitching (I was in a hurry). There will be more of these in my future.

I love this pattern, great instructions, easy to follow! My only complaint is the sizing. My three year old is very small, he still wears 18/24 months clothing. I made him the three toddler and even added the extra inch on the bottom because I wanted it to fit him for a while. Well thank goodness I did that or it would have been a belly shirt. It was very small on him, 12/18 month size at best. So I'm going to remake it with the bodice area a five and sleeves a three (they were perfect) So we'll see how it turns out.

Easy to follow instructions, placket is a little tricky!

I love having matching outfits with my daughters. This pattern pair great with the Hangout Hoodie. Both are great patterns and they come out comfy to wear.

This pattern l, like all the PAB patterns, is so easy to follow! The tutorial is great at explaining each step.
I've made two of the 4t dress options. They fit my daughter great and are so cute!
Thank you so much for such a great pattern!

I found that this ran a size small for my kiddos but was pretty easy to put together and was a quick sew. I did have a little confusion with the hood binding because to me it looked as if the hood was inside out and pinned to the outside which didn't make sense to me. Luckily I figured out it was to be pinned to the right side of the hood. Otherwise, I had no other issues figuring anything out. i will definitely be making more of these, just a size bigger. :) Looking forward to trying the ladies version with the maternity add on. :)

This came together so fast! And the end result looked professional. I compared it to some other hoodies my daughter owns, and this was just as good. I have friedns who could not believe I made it.

I made this hoodie in the dress version- what a quick sew and adorable outfit! It's perfect for a fall dress (just add tights underneath) or just for a comfy outfit in cooler weather. I love that this can be a hoodie or dress, all the sleeve options and I can use it for boys or girls. So versatile!

My children love these hoodies. My daughter is very picky about the ones she wears, and these are the only ones that she will actually pick to wear. I have made these in long sleeve, short sleeve, shirt and dress. We are kind of hoodie crazy over here! The only thing that I would recommend is to read the hood binding directions very carefully and ask in the group if you have any questions on how to do it! Once you figure that out, this pattern is amazingly simple to put together. One of our favorites!

This is a great pattern. It sews up very quickly, and my kids love the final product. As a couple of other reviewers mentioned, the placket can be a little tricky for a first timer, but help is only a quick e-mail away. You can't go wrong with the Hangout Hoodie!

This one is a cute one! Took a little time to get the front V just right, but once I figured it out, it was super quick. Great for layering!

This was the first peekaboo pattern I owned and is still my go to for all things hoodie. The placket taJr's a little practice, but once you have that figured out, the rest is cake! I'm also totally in love with the size range and threw unisex aspect of it since I have bits and girls am a wide range of sizes. This pattern is a must have for any pattern library!

I was really nervous about making my first hood, and my first long sleeves but this pattern made it a piece of cake!! My daughter wears her hoodie constantly and I cant wait til next fall to make more!

This was the first peekaboo pattern I ever sewed and I still love it. The placket can be challenging, but the instructions are clear and there are additional tips that are very helpful in the blog. Another great pattern!

This is a great pattern that I have used for my son as well as my daughter. For winter I made my daughter a couple of dress paired with the Lollipop Leggings. Easy, fast, and fun!

This was a really fast sew and such a cute result. I would suggest sizing up in the bodice, but overall I will make 100 more of these.

I love this pattern! My son wears his all the time and recently I needed a costume for a school play and threw this shirt together in no time at all. My daughter also has a dress from this pattern.
