In the UK the majority of schools have to wear uniforms, and particular colour items for sports/PE. I could buy shorts in our school colours, but struggled to find sweatpants for winter. Amy to the rescue. I made the Hang Out hoody and these sweats to make a complete suit for PE for the winter - both super easy and quick.

I'm going with 5 stars even though I haven't actually made these yet, and here's why: The Peek-a-Boo patterns are color-coded and very easy to put together. Further, the pages are numbered, something I always appreciate, and each piece is labeled, so you know what it needs to match up to! This pattern was no exception, and as usual, the directions are excellent with great pics and information. Yay, Peek-a-Boo! But one question/comment/request -- How could I make these to look more like pants, sorta skinny at the bottom without the elastic, and less like sweats? Enjoyed the comment below on how they were easy to adjust and wished to learn more. Also loved the comment about how they don't look like pajamas which is why I bought them. I'm ready to sew and he these work out for my 8 year-old grandson who will not wear jeans but who needs pants nice enough to wear to school.

This pattern is easy and can be made with a variety of fabrics (I used sweatshirt fabric, fleece and flannel). It was very easy to adjust for my tall skinny boy.

It's hard to find patterns for boys' pants for knit fabric that don't look like pajama pants. This one looks like casual sweatpants, not pajamas. The pieces fit together well, the directions are simple and easy. I just wish the pattern had grain lines. The little stretch line doesn't work well for me.
