Thanks for the free pattern! The tutorial was very easy to follow, and they came out looking great. I added a tiny bit (can't remember exactly - maybe 1/2"?) to the length of the cuff piece since I used a thick stocking fabric lined with stiff Wonder Under. I also shortened the cuff a bit so there was more room for embroidery on the stocking itself.

I made 5 of these in no time! No, the instructions are not included in the download, yout must visit the blog post. There is a link in the product description. They truly are the perfect size, they are big enough to be filled for the whole family. There is 1/2" seam allowance, read the blog post. It's all there. Love all PAB patterns!

My daughter used this pattern to crete Christmas stockings using old suit jackets. They look fantabulous. She is only 15, and found this so easy!

This is a really great pattern - particularly because it is free :-)
It is very simple to sew and is great for using up scraps of fabric or using something really special. Thoroughly recommended pattern.

I thought it was a great shape and size. I scaled it down a bit for child size but they are nice and big, great for adults.

Loved the pattern although it doesn't have any instructions as to how to assemble. The pattern doesn't seem to have a seam allowance added in so I'd definitely add an inch when cutting it out as the finished stocking is barely large enough to get our arm into to stuff it. The toe was a little short as well. Would suit well for a decorative piece or an adult stocking but not large enough for a child's stocking.
