I'm glad I bought this pattern, this is a staple that everybody should own. It lasts. It is simple, classy or casual, long or short, just perfect.
Sizes are a little big for my boys. I cut 1 size smaller than their actual age and it is still a little bit wide. But I added adjustable elastic thus it fits nicely.
I just sew 2 buttons and buttonholes inside the waistband and cut through and elastic. Ez, but efficient. ;)
Thank you and bravo for this pattern !

This pattern is exactly what I was looking for! A nice casual pant that worked great for all of my boys ranging in age from 1 to 7! Very easy to follow instructions and the fit was great, just had to add a little length!

I made 5 pair of these in a suiting fabric and paired them with the Little Gentleman Jacket. They made professional looking suit pants but I can see using this pattern for a ton of applications! School uniform pants, play shorts or pants, nice dress pants, etc. An easy to follow pattern. I love the option for faux or functioning zipper. My older kids prefer a real zipper but I prefer a faux fly for my toddlers.

I've only made one pair so far, but it will be the first of many! Easy to follow pattern, true to size, and the trousers are just too cute!

This pattern is great! It is really easy to follow, fits true to size, and the finished product looks professional. I've used the pattern to make my preschooler everyday pants, but I'm sure I will make many, many more pairs!

This pattern is great! The welt pockets were a little tricky for me but once I read through the instructions more carefully I was able to get them just right on my second try. The completed look is perfect and the fit for my girls was just right.

I made a pair of Chino shorts for my son to wear out to dinner and church. I did a custom size because he's so small waisted I can't find store clothes that fit him. These fit great! I didn't even know what a welt pocket was before making these and the pattern was so easy to follow they turned out great! It is a nice fitted pant/short. My kids elemtary and middle school have uniforms and I bought this pattern to make uniform bottoms for them and I am so glad I did. No one will know the difference when he starts kindergarten.

This pattern had been on my wish list for a while. Once I realized it was for shorts AND pants, I snapped it up. I have made the size 4 and 6. They fit is great. They are not as baggy as some boy shorts, but they are a tailored, dressy pant. My only issue was the pockets are too small for all my 4 year old's treasures. The directions are great and offer guidance on how to get a "store bought" look.

A great pattern for pants or shorts. Can be made dressier with the pockets, or just simple pull up shorts for your littles. Easy to follow and the fit is true to size.
