    1. amazing pattern!! star rating

Posted by Jamie Hall-Lambert on 25th Jan 2017

This is the first item I've sewn for myself and I love it! I always sew for everyone else. I feel so pretty even though I'm still carrying around baby weight. And so comfortable!! Thank you for this pattern!!

    2. Not Layered star rating

Posted by Disappointed on 28th Dec 2015

I was super excited to make this top for the new job I got last week. Then I opened the file and saw it wasn't layered. This is a huge disappointment for the price I paid.
The directions look easy enough to follow and I'm sure it makes a nice top. I just prefer layered patterns because I can't buy ink for my printer locally and have to wait for it to be delivered to me overseas.

I love, love, love the city chic! I made it with only one fabric and buttons and no-one could believe I made it myself! Very clear instructions, the cowl was much easier than I thought, I will definitely make a few more, this will be a staple in my wardrobe, thank you Amy!

This was such a simple pattern to follow, but the end result is so classy! I even modified mine by extending the length into a dress and it turned out gorgeous! I received so many compliments. Thank you for another great pattern.

      Very Easy pattern.
I used elastic thread instead of gathering, cut my time in half!
Wonderful pattern, could be dressed up or down.
Simple construction and easy to follow instructions.
If you are looking for something for yourself, this is it!

I just love this shirt, it is so comfy and cute! The ease of the pattern and how fast it comes together is an additional pulse. I have worn it out twice and have gotten tons of complements.
Bravo Amy on a great shirt design once again!

    9. A perfect go to shirt! star rating

Posted by Tammy M on 12th Nov 2015

The City Chic Top is not only an easy sew, it is the perfect go to shirt for busy moms/grandmoms! It is comfortable enough to be worn all day and will take you from errands to evening with just a little lipstick. It can be done in an array of knit fabrics from the dressy sweater knit that I used to a Lycra/stretch fabric for a comfortable and classy look.
The directions and tutorial are spot on and it's a quick sew that you can do in about an hour for a last minute something to wear that'll leave you feeling and looking fabulous.

    10. Quick sew, great fit, & nursing friendly! star rating

Posted by Melissa H on 11th Nov 2015

The City Chic top is such a great pattern! The fit is perfect, the design is on-trend, and the cowl can comfortably be pulled down for nursing access! The gathering/draping is easier than it looks with Amy's instructions, and it sews up quickly! Definitely a staple pattern for fall/winter!
