This pattern is SO good! Extremely clear instructions and super simple to follow...even for beginners like me! And I haven't seen more adorable shorts around! I SO want to make a pair for myself! For my skinny, but tall 3 year old, I used size 18 months measurements for waistband and the 3T measurements for the rest. Fits like a dream! You can see pictures of the pair I sewed up over at my blog: https://sewingoutofashoebox.wordpress.com/2015/06/15/peekaboo-bubble-shorts-pattern-review/

I LOVE these little shorts! Instructions were great and easy to follow, and the final product is just too adorable. These shorts make a great staple piece for any little girl's wardrobe. The 2 pairs I have made (2T and 3T) have both run true to size.

This is exactly what I wanted. Probably not a beginner's sewing but well written and easy to follow. The fit is great and runs true to size or possibly a tiny bit small. Homemade shorts are a must when you have a child with a tiny waist.

The bubble shorts may take a few more steps, and a little more time to make but it is SO worth it! They fit perfectly, and looks so professional people will be amazed you made them!! Pair great with the sweetheart halter for a perfect summer outfit!!

These are so fun to make, I love the pattern. I had never made a faux fly before so I was nervous-it was a little tricky the first time but the pattern walks you through it well and it turns out great if you follow the directions.
