I made this pattern for my grandson, and not only did he like it, his parents did, too. I sized up as it looked slim and my grandson does not. I like that I can use just 1/2 yard of the main fun fabric for the body and then a simple solid contrast for the sleeves, yoke, and hood. So many places online require fabric purchases in 1/2 yard increments, and at $15 a half yard for custom fabrics, I'd rather not have to buy an entire yard. I will definitely be making more for my other grandsons, and a dress or two for my granddaughter, as well. My daughter's only request for the next shirt was to change the long sleeve to include a knitted cuff instead of a plain hem. Easy enough!

I just love this pattern! So far, I've only made a hooded dress for my daughter and she adores it It was a pretty quick and easy sew--I can't wait to make more! Another fabulous pattern from Amy!

I've tried all the options in the 18 month size, with both knit and woven (go up a size for wove or add a zipper if baby has a big head :)) The pattern is amazing, and even a super newbie like me found success!

Adorable for boys & girls, and TONS of options. I successfully replaced the accent fabric with woven on the Henley variation. Hubby said the boy-length short sleeves were too long though LOL

Really love this pattern. I've made it several times for my grandson and I only bought it a couple months ago. It lays neatly on wiggly little boys when other shirts look a wrinkled mess after 30 minutes. It's pretty quick to sew up and instructions are thorough (all peek a boo patterns are, IMHO). Easy enough for a beginner.

I usually have the willpower to wait on buying a pattern till it is on super sale, but I had to have this one in my hands the day it came out! The finished result looks so professional and is on-trend for boys and girls. Perfect pattern for upcycling.

Most of the time I have the willpower to wait until a pattern goes on a great sale to purchase it, but I had to have this pattern in my hands the day it came out! The finished look is fantastic and is on-trend for boys and girls. I have made several now for my son and daughter. It sews up quickly and the end product is a definite step-up from your average t-shirt. Great for upcycling shirts too!

This pattern has many options and for both boys and girls. I have made a too for my son and a dress for my daughter. The pattern is easy to follow as are all her patterns. I have two hoodies cut for the kids and can't wait to finish. Great pattern!!

I made a short sleeve top for my son and a dress for my daughter. Love the classic look of them! They were a little finicky in the beginning but Amy was great in answering any questions I had! The sew-along on her blog was a great help as well for those tricky placket and neckline pieces. LOVE them though! I can’t wait to make one with the hoodie option!

I've made a hoodie for my little boy (and it's still one of my favorite things to dress him in!) and then a modified Henley dress for my little girl - both get rave reviews!

This was my second knit project and first time participating in a sew a long and I had a blast. I did the dress option with hood and love how it came out. I highly recommend the pattern and I recommend joining a sew a long with Amy sometime.

Amazing patterns for boys and girls, simple to follow and understand but people will say "no way did you make that?!" as it looks so professional! Love this pattern!

Wonderful pattern for both boys & girls. The top comes together very quickly. This pattern can be used with either knit or woven fabric.

This is a great pattern with so many options. I have made 2 Henleys for my boys and a Henley dress for my daughter. I see many more in my future.

I love this pattern for my grandkids. I can do dresses for the girls, more manly for the 9 year old boy...or neutral and have them match or coordinate. I've paired the dresses with the lollipop leggings and the kids and their mom loved them!

I made the hooded short sleeve for my son & the short sleeve dress for my daughter. Its versatility makes it great for every season.

The Boardwalk is one of my favorite patterns from Amy (who am I kidding, they're all favorites). I love the versatility of this pattern. The fact you can make a hoodie or henley top, dress or regular length, for boys or girls - the options are endless. It's like getting a dozen patterns in one. I made the 18 mos size for my son and it looks awesome. It's long enough to cover his tummy and bum but slim to not look oversized and baggy. Will be making again and again!
