I made the Bahama Mama swimsuit this summer and I am in LOVE. I will never go swimsuit shopping again - this was way better! I am quite busty and don't like to show cleavage in a swimsuit which is basically impossible in a store-bought swimsuit. This has PLENTY of coverage and the fit is fabulous. I was worried about the shelf bra dragging down the neckline - a problem with my RTW swimsuits - so I added some extra length to the bottom of the shelf bra portion and it's perfection. My bust size laughs at soft cup swimsuits, so I just took and old bra and chopped off the straps and the shelf bra holds it in place. Best swimsuit support I've ever had. I will never go back!

This pattern is great! It provides full coverage, and I love the option for criss-cross straps. No worries about ties coming undone. I have 3 kids to wrestle at the pool, so I have no time to be adjusting my suit. The tutorial is excellent and takes you step by step through the process. It even offers several tips along the way for sewing the often dreaded swimsuit fabric. This swim top is one that I will make again and again!
