I've made both boys these pjs and I LOVE how they look on my guys. I have to adjust the waist because they have little tiny waists but it is such an easy pattern! I also used the bottoms for their Halloween costumes and they were great.

As stated in the pattern, it does run a bit small so I upsized. How wonderful that I am now making seasonal and holiday p.j.`s for the new grandbaby. This pattern is a keeper.

  10. Quick & Easy PJs

  11. first time knit pj sewer

Posted by Judy on 13th Oct 2014

My mistake was to cut a size 6 instead of a size 7. I noticed when I went to find the elastic measurement that the pattern only went to size 8. I had cut a size 6 instead. Luckily that I was only doing bottoms so I had enough fabric to do a size 7. Not sure what size will work for him since we live in different states. But he now has a choice of 6 or 7. The waist band since I am a newbie knit sewer was not as straight as I would have liked. It was a fast sew.

  12. awesome, easy pattern!

I love this pattern! I have always avoided knit type fabric but this pattern makes me feel like I can do anything with them. Super easy instructions to follow and a great end result will have me coming back to this pattern as a wardrobe staple for my boys over and over again. Thank you!

  13. Great pjs!

Posted by Amy on 8th Oct 2014

Loved this pattern - very easy and great directions. Took me about 3 hours from start to finish. They fit great and look great. I used a sewing machine with a double overlock stitch and a stretch stitch - althought I wish I had a serger for these knit items! One thing on the pattern that could be improved is when you are cutting out the pieces for the cuffs and collar, it doesn't tell you which way to cut so you have the stretch in the correct direction. Of course, I did that wrong and had to recut.

  14. Looks Professional

This is a great pattern! I made these four different times and the fit was great for each size. These are a quick sew and the end result looks so professional!
